What to Wear for a Boudoir Session | Phoenix Boudoir Photographer

One of the most common questions women ask before their session is: “What should I wear to my boudoir shoot?”

The good news is there is no single “right” outfit. What you wear needs to make you feel your best. It needs to make you feel like the sexiest, most confident version of yourself Shopping for your outfits should be super fun! You get to dress up in such feminine, sexy outfits that you don't get to wear very often, it's a whole super model experience!

Below are some outfit ideas that photograph beautifully!

If you're doing bridal boudoir you can't go wrong with a white set with an added veil! We have so many amazing poses using the veil - highly recommend bringing it even if it's only in a few shots!

Not going for a bridal look? That's amazing too! The options are endless! Like I said, the most important thing is that you feel confident so you HAVE to try things on (make sure the return policy is easy! lol)

Body suits are amazing if you have any insecurities around your belly area which is so common with us women! Not all body suits are created equal, look for pieces that are detailed, not too simple. Like these- details, cut outs, sheer, lace..

Heels are super HOT! Here's an examples of wearing shoes vs. not being barefoot. Just make sure the bottoms of your heels are nice and clean, so preferably brand new!

Cropped T-Shirts are really unique and can be perfect for a sports fan!

Just the sheets and nude/fishnets are a classic- it always makes clients nervous but they always end up loving those images so much and say how comfortable they felt! And obviously their partner obsesses over them as well!
